Job Title: Publishing Coordinator
Location: Delhi, NCR (Hybrid)
Job Description: The Publishing Coordinator will play a crucial role in the production and publication process of our books and digital products. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and a passion for the publishing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the production schedule for print and digital publications, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Liaise with editors, designers, press, and other stakeholders to manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Track and update production status using Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and rights information.
• Assist with the preparation of manuscripts, proofs, and other production materials.
• Conduct quality checks on final products to ensure they meet desired standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Publishing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Entry-level position; 0-2 years of experience in publishing or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for self-help, inspirational, and transformational content is a plus.
